About

I grew up near Janesville, MN, graduated from JWP in 2000 and was an active parish member at Saint Ann Catholic Church. My parents, Steve and Joyce, live in Smiths Mill; my brother Matt, and my nephew Steven (15) and niece Brooklyn (11) live nearby in Janesville.
After graduating with a BA in communication from Bethany Lutheran College, I joined KEYC-TV in Mankato to work in production, and later in the promotions department. Then, a great opportunity presented itself with ESPN, and I packed up and moved 1500 miles east to Bristol, CT, where I worked at ESPN headquarters in commercial operations. While there, I was able to further my education, and in May 2013, I graduated from Quinnipiac University with my Master's degree in Interactive Communication/Media focusing on graphic design, social media and web design.
Five years of watching my family via skype was long enough, and it was time to return home to watch my niece and nephew grow. It was especially important for me to be closer to my niece, who has many disabilities and lifelong challenges.
Shortly after graduating with my Masters a career opportunity to use my social media and website opened at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato as Administrative Assistant/Communications. Another career opportunity came in March 2017 at Church of St. Peter. It had been a wonderful blessing to be working for the church. I have been able to grow my faith closer to God.
In October 2017 I purchased my first home in Cleveland, MN. While not working on my home I enjoy reading, putting together jigsaw puzzles and taking nature photos.
